Big Momma, aka Phal Carmela's Brite Lites 'Big City' x Kenneth Wong
'Carmela' (one of the two orchids that I got from friends here from Al's
Orchid Greenhouse) is beginning to open its first bud today. I can already
tell that it is indeed a green-flowered Phal, so the photo that Al posted to
alt.binaries.pictures.orchids (and that he thought was of a sister plant)
was indeed the correct one. I will post a photo of my own on abpo once the
flower has fully opened, but for now I found the picture that Al posted in
the usenet-replayer archives

mine will have more red spots on the green-background petals though. I am
very excited about it.

Since it is not named she could call it Brite Roberts 'Big Momma' <G>
and get the whole thing in even a reference to the original cross
(Phal Carmela's Brite Lites 'Big City' x Kenneth Wong 'Carmela'),
ok only 1/2 of it.
Note: no ( 's) it gives everyone fits, some leave it in, some drop it.
Better to just go without from scratch.
