Identification of plants

Is anybody able to help identify some plants if i was to post the pics? for
some reason this will not let me post the photos to the group.

3 of the plants have nuts or fruits, Ithink they are native but cannot be
sure. (1 has ferm/palm like leaves and has what appears is a nut, the other
2 are berry-like fruits on a vine)

1 is an acacia - not sure if it's ovens wattle or acinacea

and 1 is a vine which is think is part of the malvaceae family (smallish
mauve flowers)

I have others i'd like identified too but i will keep it to this for now..
As I said, I can send pics

Thank you

cheers,
Clint

Re: Identification of plants

Hi Chookie,

The photos of all plants i'm trying to identify are here:

http://au.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/klintj1/album?.dir=/ff67

the one i think is a nut is called 20051203(067) it is also the same tree in
pic 20051203(066)

The wattle pics are all of the same plant even though some pics end up at
the bottom of the display.

If you or anybody can help identify what these plants may be, it would be
appreciated.

Thank you

Regards,
Clint

Re: Identification of plants

g'day clinton,

my books are packed away and i can't give you botanical names so here goes
with what i know them as:

056 &57 look like what i know as poison pashion fruit it is something of a
wild bush weed here in south/east qld do a search for s/e/qld weeds.

021 could be a native wandering dew?

003 maybe a flowering pashion fruit?

005, 006 & 004 by the leaves again resemmbles a pashion fruit type plant?

a lot of the fruits could be bush fruits or native fruits try looking in the
bush foods area.

that's my guess

I agree with Len that 20060326(021) looks suspiciously like Wandering Jew.
A couple of others (especially 20060407(006)) look like Morning Glory, but are
not the weed species that grows around here.
20060326(025) looks like Pittosporum.
The one with blue berries might be Elaeocarpus reticulatus (Blueberry ash).

Can't help with the rest, I'm afraid!
