Opinion on new growth of my Phal
My Phal has been dormant for aprox. 6 months. After its beautiful crop of
blooms, and when its branches started to wilt, I cut it to where the wilting
process stopped (about 1/3 down). I continued to fertilize and water it as
usual, and kept it in the same spot. I now see new growth appearing, which
is exciting, but I am not sure if this new growth is consistent with other
Phals' rebirth. Would you give me your opinion ? I posted 2 photos to make
this appraisal possible. Here they are :

Re: Opinion on new growth of my Phal
Congratulations! Now you just have to pick out a name. Robert
sounds good for some reason (haha). Looks like a new row of flowers
coming on. My phal. put on flowers then a kiekie (baby plant) on the
end. Too bad I don't have a digital camera, otherwise we could compare
photos like parents do. The plant looks really healthy.......Burr
Re: Opinion on new growth of my Phal
Robert is indeed a fine name ;-) The Phal spike looks like it is branching
and will reward you with additional flowers. Congrats!
