I am thinking that I am growing a wisteria vine. However, I saw that there
is a weed vine in my yard that looks like this wisteria. Is there any way to
know what I am growing is wisteria?

I'm guessing what you have is not Wisteria. . .It would be hard to
think of Wisteria as a weed, especially when in bloom.

Where I live, it's worse than a weed. It's in the same group as kudzu,
trumpet vines, poison ivy & honeysuckle vines. Once you let any of
them out of the bucket, that's the day you lost control.

Well, I guess any plant is a weed, if it is growing where WE don't want
it to. . .no matter how beautiful it's blooms are.

I must admit, there were times I thought my Wisteria was a "weed."
They can be really invasive.

I guess deciding whether something is a plant or a weed, would be the
same as deciding if certain animals are critters or varmints;-)
