bay flowering
I've got what I think is a large (5' high, 2 or 3' wide) bay bush in my
garden but so far it has not flowered which others seem to do. Are they male
and female? Do they all flower? TIA,

I
I don't think there's a gender issue but they do like to be in the sun.
Those of ours which are shaded by other trees don't flower but the ones in
sunny positions do.

That's not large ;-)
I pruned a lump 8ft wide, 10ft long and 8ft high off the top of one of
mine.

As far as I know. I don't know that they have any purely vegetative
(?Neuter) plants and I would think it unlikely
