hi to everyone,first thing i am not a gardener,2nd thing i need help,i
have just put in a lovely rose(frantasia) or rhapsody in blue,just
started to bloom,full of buds but when i got up this morning nearly all
the buds were on the ground looks like they had been cut of about a
quater of an inch under the bud,i have looked all over the rose but
could not find anything, can anyone out there help? please look forward
to hearing from you soon...jbl

sounds like what vine weevils did to one stem on my rose. little
critters have left terrible holes in leaves, which they did when i went
on holiday but notice last night that they'd taken almost all buds off
on one stem

only solution i believe is to pick em off by hand at night. and i'd do
a search on this site for vine weevils and read previous posts for more
info and hopefully pictures
