Used to be that local pillocks went into the
trade just so they could sniff the glue used mending
punctures....

These days they are bribed with 1664 which does
much the same job.....

Re: Hipocrisy!

Jayzizz look do we want to talk drivel or something else. I need a
laugh as much as the rest of you, but if anyone wants to be serious for
a minute, I see two valid points that have been raised on this
thread........

Correct me if I'm worng, Geordie, but you seemed to be raising the
question of whether Ian Huntley is guilty of the Soham murders or
whether he was a convenient scapegoat for winding up a police
investigation mired in blundering and failure......
I do not know of any proof that Ian Huntley murdered those two girls,
and his conviction reads suspiciously like an echo of the Peter
Sutcliffe conviction for the Yorkshire Ripper killings, while the real
Yorkshire Ripper was allowed to go free and continue killing........
echoes of Stefan Kiszko, Judith Ward, Gerry Conlon, Carole
Richardson.......
Cops will be cops.............................

And Ian Huntley's trial was every bit as surreal and hilarious as Peter
Sutcliffe's trial.

------------------------------------------------------------ --------------

Then the second serious point here is what I think the guy who opened
the thread was getting at. About fifty people were killed in London
while about a hundred thousand have been killed in Iraq, but nobody
gives a flying fuck about who get's killed in Iraq, as long as they're
not Europeans or North Americans.

But then there's something else. The vast majority of Iraqis getting
killed these days are being murdered by other Iraqis. It's up to the
Iraqis to straighten themselves out and stop killing each other. Let
the Iraqis have their two minutes silence for the other Iraqis they've
murdered. Stop blaming the British and the Americans for everything and
tell the Iraqis to straighten themselves out.

Saddam was able to keep order in the country and prevent such things
happening. Perhaps he should be reinstated & show the Westerners how
to do the job?

You overlook the fact that it is *we* who caused the instability in
the first place.

Yes, and remember that Hitler was really sincere, and Mussolini made the
trains run on time. Make me a dictator and I could sort them all out, no
problem :-)

The situation in Iraq today is far worse than it was before the illegal
attacks of GW2, and of course 100k + have died as a direct result of the
attacks, which as it would appear there is very little chance of the US ever
gaining control of Iraqi oil, seem to have been a complete waste of
time......................

.....and lets face it the worst thing hitler did was invade people's
countries under false pretexts and subject their population to misery
and death.

.....and nobody in the UK or the states can critisize that, now!

Had Blair and Bush threatened Saddam with what we are constantly being told
is the ultimate deterrent, i.e. Trident, there would have been no war. They
are now trying to convince everyone that the multi-billion dollar
replacement for Trident is an even better deterrent, against what? What is
the point of a deterrent which you never threaten to use because the
consequences are unthinkable.

WMD? Don't make me laugh!
