Why, for the second year running my, mainly Scarlet Emperor beans have
failed to develop pods in the lower two thirds of the stem? Flowers in
abundance, but despite regular water spraying, the flowers wither and fall
off leaving nothing to mature into beans. I live in the south east and we
have a drought on our hands, which hasn't denied my plants a regular hand
watering.
