That's about what the person who gave it to me did. I am trying to find out a
little more, such as maximum & minimum temperature, & length. What you
describe is more like the cool rest typical for other Mediterranean trees, rather
than complete dormancy.

Right. From what I've seen of it thus far, I would say treat it like
your kingsvilles. In fact, that is where we kept it--with the
kingsvilles, in the cool part of the kitchen. This year I plan to
have it outdoors until sometime in November depending on how the fall
progresses. I won't let it freeze, but I'm sure it will do fine in
temps down to 40 or a little below.
