Somebody asked how long you leave the wires on Pinus pinea. The answer is two
months. It was starting to cut in, but the results held. Careful with the new
shoots; they come off easily. It sprouts readily at cut off branch tips, but
buds back very slowly on bare wood. I hope I live long enough for it to look
like the pictures from Italy & Israel.
