#1: [IBC] Help on Palm Bonsai

Hello all,
How's everyone enjoying the summer weather. Down here in OC it's HHHAAAAAWWWWT(HOT). Anyhow, I got a Palm Bonsai as a gift for hard work from my boss from Red Envelope. Had it for a couple weeks now and did its first watering. Waited for the soil to be half dry as instructed on the instructions. Anyone else out there have any pointers to make sure this 'baby' does well on my desk.
