Just FYI, all . . . Here's a useful site:

We're looking at Tyron, NC as a potential escape
(permanent!) from Fla. and that was linked from one of the
10,865 websites I found.
(If anyone has pro and con on the area (Polk County) in NC.,
I'd listen.)
