#1: No Roots on Keiki -- what now?
Posted on 2006-07-16 17:07:54 by news
Hi folks. Using the KiekiGrow product, I was successful in getting a
fantastic, 3+ leave keiki growing on one of my favorite phal's; however, its
been growing on the (now flowerless) spike for several months and STILL NO
ROOTS!
I'm perplexed. I needs roots before I can separate it, right?
Do I need to try air-layering with spag. moss to encourage roots?...or just
sit tight?
TIA,
David

Just wait. They'll grow eventually. May take a while.

Plant Hormones Canada also sells Keiki-Root...
Another thing to consider is mixing up a teaspoon per gallon of K-L-N or
SuperThrive and "painting" the plant with it.
